Adolfo Crespo Márquez is a Full Professor at the School of Engineering at the University of Seville, where he has served as the Head of the Department of Industrial Management. Holding a Ph.D. (with Honors) in Industrial Engineering from the same institution, his academic achievements and contributions to the field have earned him recognition on the Stanford University list of world top-scientists for several years.

Sus intereses de investigación se refieren a los sistemas y modelos de decisión en la industria y los servicios, incluyendo una serie de decisiones relacionadas con el diseño y la optimización de procesos, la planificación y programación de la producción y la cadena de suministro, así como los sistemas de información como infraestructura de apoyo.
